The creative design work of Zachary Sequoia

Zachary Sequoia has been working within the design and visual communication industry for over 14 years. Starting in the San Francisco area designing web sites, training in pre-press management resulted in a specialisation in multi-page print design for product catalogues and magazines for various California companies.

A position at tristream – at the time one of San Francisco's largest web design studios – moved Zachary back into a more online focus for the booming high-tech industry, working on global projects for companies like Cisco Systems, Logitech and telestream. In 2001, escaping the dot-com crash, Zachary founded Wooden Pier as a business for his freelance design work and moved abroad working for an array of international clients in Asia while maintaining business relationships and ‘telecommuting’ to many of his old US based clients.

In 2003, Zachary settled in Melbourne Australia and worked as a freelance designer for numerous studios, inhouse for a variety of companies and has held design contracts for government departments in Australia and Fiji.

Now in the beaustiful Far South Coast of NSW, Zachary still enjoys traveling and when not in front of a computer, can be found deep in the Australian bush or fishing off a reef in Fiji.
